NOTE ABOUT OUR REAR SUSPENSION SYSTEMS...
The
Jaguar-Salisbury rear end is widely used among kitcar builders
because of its appearance, ready availability and easy adaptability
to many chasis designs. When subjected to the demands of the race
track, however, the ordinary Jaguar-Salisbury suspension begins
to fall short. An ordinary Jaguar-Salisbury suspension tends to
flex under high horsepower, resulting in second-rate handling.
The inboard brakes provide marginal braking performance due to
inadequate cooling and are difficult to service.
JustCobras was among the first to offer high-tech, state-of-the-art
Jag-based suspensions. Our XK1000 suspension won high acclaim
from chassis builders as the very strongest, best engineered Salisbury
setup on the market. Ongoing product development and extensive
track testing led to the introduction of the SECOND GENERATION
precision Jag-based, rear suspension -- the JustCobras
XK2000
series. We've re-engineered all suspension components from the
ground up for stable, rigid performance under severe racing conditions.
All components are designed with race track servicibility in mind.

Second
generation XK2000 engineering improvements include a widened lower
A-Arm -- CNC milled from aircraft quality billet aluminum to eliminate
flex; an all new CNC milled spindle housing designed to match
the rigidity of the A-Arms; an all new Wats linkage for precision
axle control; high performance, race quality outboard brake system
with Willwood Superlite calipers. Each pivot point is fitted with
roller bearings for maximum rigidity. It all adds up to make the
JustCobras XK2000 a truly extraordinary suspension.
